DIMENSIONS
The Waffle Beanie is made to fit an average sized women’s head and should measure approximately 8 inches tall and 8.5 inches wide with brim folded.
NOTES
- Beginning chain DOES NOT count as a stitch.
- I used Loops & Threads Soft Classic to make the beanie pictured but any weight 4 yarn could easily be substituted.
PATTERN
BRIM
Ch 21
ROW 1
- sc in the 2nd ch from your hook and each stitch across
- ch 1, turn
ROW 2 – 66
- sc in the blo in each stitch across
- ch 1, turn
Fold your brim in half, slst both ends together, turn right side out, ch 1 and continue to body working along the edge of the brim.
BODY
ROW 1
- ch 1
- sc in the top of each row of the brim
- slst to beginning sc (66 stitches)
ROW 2
- ch 2
- dc in each stitch around
- slst to beginning dc (66 stitches)
ROW 3
- ch 2
- *fpdc, bpdc, bpdc*
- Repeat from * to * around
- slst to beginning fpdc (66 stitches)

MESSY BUN BEANIE: Fasten off, weave in ends and fold up the brim!
BEANIE: Fasten off leaving a long tail, use the tail to thread through stitches to close up the opening, weave in ends and fold up the brim!
