- Bernat Maker Home Dec or any Weight 5 yarn of your choice
- 5.50 mm Crochet Hook
- Stitch Marker
- Yarn Needle
- Scissors

NOTES
- I used Bernat Maker Home Dec when writing this pattern but any weight 5 yarn could easily be substituted.
- Beginning chain does not count as a stitch
- When creating the chain stitches through the pattern make sure not to pull them too tightly, tight chain stitches may make the cozy less stretchy
ABBREVIATIONS
- slst – Slipstitch
- ch – Chain
- sc – Single Crochet
- mbs – Mini Bean stitch
SPECIAL STITCHES
MINI BEAN STITCH
Insert hook into stitch, yarn over, pull through (2 loops on hook), yarn over, insert hook in to same stitch, yarn over, pull through (4 loops on hook), yarn over, pull through all 4 loops, chain 1 to close stitch.
*Please note that this ch 1 does count as a stitch in the final stitch counts of each round; so each MBS you complete will count for 2 stitches.

PATTERN
Ch 24, slip stitch into beginning ch to form a ring being careful not to twist your chain.
ROW 1
- ch 1
- Sc in each stitch around
- End by slip stitching into the top of the first sc – 24 stitches
ROW 2
- ch 1
- *mbs in next stitch, skip next stitch*
- Repeat from * to * around
- Slip stitch into top of first mbs – 24 stitches
ROW 3 – 9
- Slip stitch into first ch space, ch 1
- *mbs in ch 1 space, skip next stitch*
- Repeat from * to * around
- Slip stitch into top of first mbs – 24 stitches
ROW 10
- ch 1
- Sc in first stitch and each stitch around – 24 stitches
