I’m relatively new to amigurumi, but one of my goals for 2019 was to learn to do it. I’ve been admiring all the wonderful creations that fill my feed on instagram wishing I had the patience to complete all those tiny little stitches and intricate details. When Anna at The Knotty Boss asked if I’d like to give her Cactus pattern a try I was hesitant, not because I didn’t want to do it but because I was completely terrified that I would fail miserably and make a complete mess of her pattern. But I love a challenge, so I agreed. And I finished it! She’s far from perfect and definitely has flaws but it was a fantastic learning experience for me and I’m looking forward to making more. I’m a little less terrified of amigurumi and just might tackle another pattern soon!
This pattern is easily completed by a crocheter new to amigurumi, like myself. It’s beautifully written with thorough step by step instructions. I highly recommend purchasing a copy!
